It's Saturday! Hang in there all you teachers, parents, students. We are ALMOST DONE. And don't forget to watch for God to show up in your every day ordinary crazy life. I love this sign and am giving it away to one random winner today. To be included in the drawing post a comment on Facebook or in the comment section below about a beautiful moment you collected today. Drawing tomorrow.

We should always seek the small moments of beauty that surround us each day.

Yes! Sunsets and giggles and good books and flowers. We race right past gifts all the time.

My first beautiful moment this morning was training a new nurse and discovering she was also a Christian. We shared stories about the Lord's faithfulness during breaks in the work flow. My second moment was coming home from a 12 hour night shift in the ICU and being greeted by my husband's strong hug and then my daughter's sweet smile before I even put down my lunch box. God is good!

Yes! Encouraging like hearted sisters. Welcome home hugs. I forget sometimes to greet people well but what a difference it makes.

Today's beautiful moment was getting to enjoy a morning cup of coffee with my husband before he left for work. Getting a morning together is incredibly rare due to our schedules. We sat together and dreamed of some things we'd like to do together in the near future. Simple, blissful and a perfect start to the day.

Drove to Renton this morning with Nate. Spending time in the car, one-on-one, he grabs my hand and says "I'm glad it's just you n' me today, Mom." Me too, buddy. ❤️

Today's beautiful moment for me was riding the tilt-a-whirl at Oaks Park. This may seem silly to some but this has always been my favorite ride and I always ride it every time I can. I love the feeling of those butterflies you get in your stomach when you spin. It makes you smile and laugh and just for a few minutes you aren't thinking about anything else except how fun it is. I'm not worried about anything or scared about anything or afraid of anything during that time. My brain shuts off all the outside noise and just enjoys those moments. I'm not stressed or sad or hurt or mad but happy. In my life I don't always feel that. There is work, kids, the housework and bills and yard work and I could go on and on but when I'm spinning I am not thinking about any of those things. I'm enjoying myself , truly enjoying myself without a care, just for that short time. I wish I had access to a tilt-a-whirl every day. So as strange as this sounds this is always and will forever be a beautiful moment for me. I hope everyone finds their tilta-whirl!!

My daughter in law received this as a gift and while they were moving their daughter took a marker to it. We have been trying to locate it to order as a Christmas gift to replace her damaged one. Can you please tell me where you found this one?
